How big are the bins?
Please refer to the bin sizes page for a list of bin dimensions and estimated carrying capacity.
How big is the truck?
Our truck can access most driveways depending on their width, steepness and the location of overhead wires and trees.
The truck can also fit under the eves of most houses.
If you are concerned about your access please contact us as we can assess this on a case by case basis. We have a hi-ab so we can swing the bin if necessary to reach & place your skip.
Where do you put the skip?
At time of order you need to tell us where you would like the skip to go & we endeavour to meet your requirements depending on access. We can drive & turn in paddocks during summer, but this may not be possible during winter with the
wet weather.
Can I fill my skip bin to the top?
All rubbish must be inside the bin with nothing sticking out over the top. This is to ensure the safe lifting, emptying and removal of our bin from your property. Surcharges will be applied if we have to empty and repack your skip by hand.
Do you service my area?
We service from Masterton – Featherston wide. Rural properties may incur mileage charges depending on their locality and our driving routes.
What are your payment options
We accept cash, cheque, internet banking at time of delivery or pick-up. Invoices are issued to commercial and regular clients only & if by prior arrangement. We do not invoice in the event that you are moving house.
How long can I have the skip bin?
We allow four days including your delivery and removal days:
eg weekend hire: we drop off on a Friday we pick up the following Monday
eg Mid week hire: we drop off on a Tuesday we pick up the following Friday
Can I move the bin?
NO! Once placed the bin must not be moved. If moved when empty you will not be able to move the bin back and the driver may not be able to pick up the bin again. Any damage done to the bin or property by a bin being moved will be the responsibility of the hirer.
What if I am not finished with the skip bin by
pick-up day?
Please contact us on 06-306-6177 to arrange an extension
Conditions may apply
Weight Limits
All bins have a weight limit of ½ a tonne. Excessive weights will be charged for accordingly.
Damage to bins
The hirer is liable for any damage done to the bin.
This includes fire damage or damage done by
an excavator and
or machinery.
Damage to driveways
Our drivers cannot determine the thickness or condition of a driveway or how it was constructed therefore we will not
be responsible for any damage done as a result of your bin being delivered. If the driveway has recently been laid we would advise against having the truck enter your drive until it has had sufficient time to set.
